The minimal invasive methods for the treatment of the spinal diseases were developed by
Prof. Dr. Ali Hassan in cooperation with human-neurosurgeons in 2002 and constitute
decisive progresses for the veterinary medicine.

The purpose of this academic organization is to help improve the skills of veterinary surgeons since 2004 several times per year. Training courses are organized in Hamburg and held in regularly intervals. These training courses include a theoretical part of the subjects,
followed by practical exercises in small groups (workshop).

General indications are abnormals, when conventional x-ray diagnosis is not near enough, to improve the assessment accuracy of tumors, course- and therapy controls.
